In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Dear Mom.”

I miss you everyday. There are so many things I want to say to you. I love you! You did the best you could raising me. You taught me to be honest, even if you decided that maybe I should learn to be silent sometimes. I wish we could share stories again of our family precious moments. I miss your voice and how it changes to enhance the words needed to convey the emotional aspect of the stories. I want to tell you how proud I am of the lessons we learned together. I want you to know I am working on the book we always said we would write together. I miss you everyday. I pray that I can help as many people as you did during your time with us. You were taken too early and I will always grieve the lost time.
